  The produce department actually scares me. It doesn't look like a produce department so much as it does a movie set of a produce department. The apple display, for example; more apples than Madison could eat in a week, and every one is perfect down to little water droplet enhancements - I think an attendant comes round with a hypodermic refresher squeezer. I get the distinct feeling I'm not good enough for these apples.
  Then there's kale. I've never had it, never knew it existed until a year or so ago -- they've got different kinds of it here, and I think they're into experimentation as to just where kale can fit into your diet. Ice cream, for example, or kale cola.
  But if you've got a big to-do scheduled at your place and some money left over from either a company bonus or a recent inheritance, the meat and cheese will take that money and make you the talk of the neighborhood. I only know one soft, squishy cheese - brie - but WF has a dozen of them. I could fill a tasting platter of cheeses I not only never heard of, but also cannot pronounce! Meats? Whatever is being displayed is a guaranteed winner, wrapped in dreamy butcher paper - If you're serving six or more, I think you can arrange a 90-day interest-free payment option.
  There's no doubt everything here is top drawer, but when you open that drawer there's a loud CHA-CHING as your car payment goes elsewhere.
